Just Joined…looking for a great half marathon program
I am new to the marathon world. I have ran some 5K’s in the past (prior to kids) and have kept active with cycle classes at the gym. After my last child was born, 2 1/2 years ago I had kidney problems and that caused me to get less active with my running. Now, I am feeling better than ever and needing this goal to be met. My race is on December 14th and I plan on finishing. Would anyone have a plan that would start me off slow and increase in miles and pace each week? Something that would motivate me on my own? I teach full time starting back again in August so I really don’t have time a weekly running group. I am looking for a running group that runs very early Sat. or Sun. mornings for their long runs but have been unsuccessful so far. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. thanks…
*Any success stories welcome..I enjoy hearing about other that met these kinds of goals on their own!
